I hold a BA degree in Romanian and English Language and Literature, as well as Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) awarded by the UK Department for Education. I also have over five years of experience teaching English as a foreign language to pupils at both primary and secondary education levels.
Literature
While working for a publishing house, I gained valuable experience in the literary field by proofreading literary translations and contributing to the translation of Amos Oz’s novel Panther in the Basement from English into Romanian.
This experience has strengthened my ability to work with nuanced texts, preserve literary style and meaning, and adapt language creatively while maintaining the author’s original voice.
